  • What challenges do you think you may encounter while providing feedback to all of your students in an online course?
i think major challenges would mainly depend upon the number of learners in the cohort and the time available for providing the feedback to them. other challenges can be 
1. each feedback should add value to learner's knowledge
2. language should be easily understandable and positive
3. understanding of every assignment considering learner's background
4. clarity and vision in the feedback
5.learner's involvement in discussion on the feedback received
6. learner's self-assessment should also match with the feedback he/she got
7. it should be encouraging
8. there should not be repetitive feedback statements for all the learner's
9. scoring should also be given along with qualitative feedback
10. it would always be indicative of future assignment expected or to be done.

4th June2013 Module 2 week3 Reflection3 What do you think will be the biggest challenge you face when motivating students in an online course environment? Biggest challenge is to first get them into online environment, process started by influencing the tech-savvy learners and than moving towards engaging student leaders , expressing views , communicating with them online and further it leads to the involvement of all the learners.Motivating the learners in an online environment is challenging as different obstacles like Social interactions, - hesitation to show views /expressions infrastructural issues, - time management , resources unavailability or inappropriate tangible support systems, - physical resources like books, faculty learner's own motivation and lack of technical & academic skills - ability to work with online learning technology.  hinders their process of learning through online mode.
